Hedge Maze
One of the scariest movies made in Hollywood “The shining” had a maze scene that had you on the edge of your seat. That is if you’ve never seen the movie you’ll see how the little boy out witted his possessed father in a Maze. The father wasn’t bad it’s just that the mentally fragile person is ripe to be influenced and taken over by malevolent unseen forces especially if substances are involved. The father still looked scary even after he froze to death because he could not find his way outside the Maze….I guess he should have taken a lesson from a mouse on how to navigate a Maze before chasing someone into it.
Perhaps someone will make a move of the back story about the murders that took place at the Overlook Hotel. I bet it will be a box office hit.
Hello True George,
I agree with your idea about making a film about the back story of the previous murders at the Overlook Hotel, I am surprised that this has not happened yet as far as I know, and I also think that it will be successful if done properly and if done on a low enough budget to get the job done properly.

Hello True George,
Your latest post (https://truegeorge.com/?p=3400) shows that it does not exist when I click on it from your Home Page, from the email alert, and from the Recent Posts widget so something strange is going on there it seems.

It stopped working again so I was not able to comment.
When it was working the Like Button was not loading, it was not showing up in the WordPress.com Reader, and and the URL looks unusual.
You may want to open that post in one of the editors and make sure that the post details are correct, and maybe try updating it or something maybe.

I’ve checked the post setting, everything looks good at this end. However I updated it. But I did notice that the post did not appear in the reader. I don’t know why.
I hope outside influences are not at play…..

Hello True George,
Crashed? Do you think it went to Spam?
I notice that below your menu in two places is the word Advertisements, do you see that too?

Hello True George,
Interesting, I did not know that you were eligible for WordAds yet (I thought the requirements were a bit steep, and that blogs like mine were not popular enough yet), and I thought that the ads would only appear in a certain location at the bottom of a post or page (maybe Adguard DNS and / or Ublock Origin caused that to show at the top like that when blocking the ads, but who knows).
So how are WordAds working out for you (I never talked to someone who I knew that was using them)?
All of these years I have never had the opportunity to make even a penny on my blog or YouTube channel et cetera because I have never been able to participate in ad sharing before.
Thank you,

you will have the option to put word ads on your blog if you have a premium account.
I only had the ads on for a couple of months. You have no control where the ads appear.
I have not made anything on them. I guess I don’t have the volume of traffic to benefit…but I’m just experimenting with it. If nothing doesn’t come out of it in the next 6 months I’m removing them

Hello True George,
At first you had to have at least a premium account, a custom domain, and a certain amount of daily or weekly or monthly views so it is good to see that it is not as restrictive now.
I do not have a problem with ads like that which probably follow acceptable ad policies, I would probably keep them on there, good luck and I hope that you will start making some money eventually.
Thank you for responding,

Hello True George,
I actually have not seen The Shining, so I skipped one of the videos to avoid spoilers, but I have seen part of it when I was younger and I have definitely heard it mentioned over the years.
I am going to have to watch it this year.
Late one night I was looking up a documentary film on YouTube when I stumbled across a trailer for another documentary by the same director of the actual documentary that I was trying to find.
The trailer was for a documentary called Room 237, I was alone on the computer in the dark with headphones on when I watched the trailer with no idea of what to expect, and the trailer was creepy thanks to the sounds and the music and the visuals:
Thank you for sharing this,

If you haven’t seen the Shinning then I suggest see it as soon as you can you won’t be disappointed.
I’ve never seen room 237 I hope it is on Hulu or Netfelx…..

It may be the next movie that I watch, and I will probably make a post about it.
I have never seen Room 237 yet either, it may be on Netflix if this is correct:

Hello True George,
I finished watching The Shining, you were right, I was impressed and I agree with it being considered a classic in some ways. 👍

Just finished room 237 not what I expected it to be. It wasn’t about the back story of the murders that took place at the hotel. It was more concerning the symbols implanted by the producer/director Stanley Kubrick. Interesting concepts of subliminal influence; the staging of the Apollo 7 moon mission; reference to the Monarchy program; Nazi death camps; the final solution…hell I would go as far as saying it touches on stuff I mentioned on my blog one way or another…..

Hello True George,
Wow, I was not expecting that, thank you for the update.
Do you think that it is worth watching?

In some retrospect it opens you up to watching the Shining again to notice the subtle things that the Director did that Room 237 mentioned and to learn a bit about Kubrick’s hidden messages. If other Directors do the same thing…..

Thank you for answering that True George.
I have not seen this before, but have you seen the Shining television miniseries (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Shining_(miniseries)) that was made by Stephen King?
If so, how do you think it compares to the movie?
Thank you,
-John Jr
