Church Fire

Picture this latest dream concerning recruiting someone to be part of a church. The construction of the setting was based-on church buildings that I visited in the past. The dream itself started with me seeing a version of myself sleeping on the church building’s step. There were some distortions because I cannot recall how I got to be a recruiter. All I saw was that I recruited someone to become a church member.

When I brought him to the church, we had to walk up some stairs to an office. I took him to the office, and the church official agreed that we could have rooms in the basement.

It turned out the dude that I recruited was not in his right mind. He was standing by a bookshelf and for some reason he got one of those fire lighters that is used to light barbecue grills, and he set a couple of books on fire.

I asked him why he set the books on fire, but he did not respond. I saw the flames starting to burn through the wooden wall. So, I grabbed the fire extinguisher and put the fire out.

When I put the fire out, I pulled the fire alarm just in case some residue flames was burning in the wall. The fire alarm caused panic. The person who was supposed to be on security duty was no where to be found. The guard was suppose to alert people that the fire alarm was pulled and help to evacuate people out of the building in case of a fire.

Eventually the security guard was located, he was in the basement, somewhere he wasn’t supposed to be. I covered for the guard, and alerted the guard to get where he is supposed to be. But I guess it didn’t make a difference. People were rushing out of the church’s building. The firefighters came and since they saw no fire they left.

The church officials and others who were in the building were angry. I explained to them what happened. They didn’t believe the dude just started a fire out of the blue. They implied that the next time that there is a fire, that I should just leave and not do anything.

The dude that started the fire started another one. This time, I decided to heed what the church officials said, I didn’t make no moves to put out the fire, I just let the flames burn. The only thing that I did was to get out of the building.

When the flames from the new fire started to get bigger, I decided to get my tank, (yes, a M1 Abrams tank) and leave. I jumped in the tank and drove it out from where it was stored, and  drove it through the garages doors.

While I was leaving, I heard a voice saying that I should get the horse out of the building. I drove the tank to the stable which was also in the church’s basement.

I got a hoist and put it around the horse’s neck and hoisted the horse on the tank and drove that tank on a larger transport vehicle. I got in the transport vehicle’s driver’s seat and drove it outside.

Once outside, I could see the church’s building engulfed in flames…
