Lost on a White Sand Beach
Here at the second gig, counting down the time leading to the end of the shift. I was going to write a commentary about the dropping of the sexual assault law suit, that was brought against Sean “Diddie” Combs and Jay Z, by a woman who she said that Combs and Jay Z allegedly rape her when she was 13 years old, at a private party after attending the 2000 Music Television (MTV) music awards in Manhattan.
I was listening to the opinion of Stephen A Smith ranting about the subject, while I was relaxing, I could hear his voice, but at the same time it looked like I zoned out and entered the dream space.
I saw that I was on a beach, the beach had white sand, and it was shaped like it was on the California coast. I could see the ocean, and people around the beach.
I saw some type of altercation, where a football was tossed, and the ball did not end up where it was supposed to end up. That a woman caught the ball and was arguing with the people that threw it.
This is when I started to see things through the woman’s eyes. I saw that she was running through the ocean and back on the sand. She was walking away from the water, going to the road perhaps to exit the beach.
Only, the more she moved from the ocean the more she got lost on the beach. Since she was getting nowhere, she started making her way back to the ocean line to get her bearings, but couldn’t find where the ocean was, even though she was going back the same way she came.
Then the point of view shifted and now I could see that I was above the beach and looking down at the woman, at her location on the beach. I could not see the ocean. I saw sand as far as the eye can see. I could have sworn that the environment looked like the middle eastern desert, except for the sand was white.
Then I was startled, one of the ladies at the second gig decided to make some noise that jolted me out of the dream space, just as I was about to see another turn of events.
