Cemetery
O.K I’m wrapping my head around this latest dream, I’m not even sure that it makes sense. Well, it first started when I saw images of what looked to be a layout of the interior of the house where I lived in during my pre-teen years. Only it looked bigger like the whole house was a mansion.
I put in a record to play on the old fashion gramophone’s turntable. It wasn’t any particular song, just something random. The volume was turned high so that I can hear it after I went to my room and went to bed.
Then my parents came home. They were up set that I was playing a record late at night, plus they were especially annoyed because I had the volume loud, it might have bothered the rest of the house’s occupants and neighbors.
They said that they are taking my siblings to another house, and since I was being unruly, I’m going to have to stay in the house by myself.
I protested their decision; I did not want to stay at the house by myself. But the protest fell on death ears.
My parents and siblings left, leaving me alone in the house. Since I didn’t want to be there by myself, instead of going to bed like I should have done, I went out side.
When I went outside the environment looked kind of brownish, and instead of it looking like a normal street. It looked like a military reservation. I could see service men walking around. Then I saw someone I recognized. He was RM, who was in my class when I was in high school.
We were talking and walking on a pedestrian pavement. When a car came barreling down the pavement and mowed me and RM down. I didn’t feel any pain, and neither did RM, we got up and continued on walking.
But the black iron railings that we were walking next too sure looked spooky. I decided to hop that iron railing barrier to see what was in the field that the iron railings were blocking off.
When I was on the other side of the iron railing barrier, I saw that I was in a cemetery. I could see the cemetery boundaries and on the other side of the iron barriers where I was before, it was a road that led to nowhere.
This is when I realized that when the car mowed me and RM down, it killed us and we are buried somewhere in the cemetery.
I called out to RM to let him know that we died when the car hit us. But RM didn’t believe me, he still thinks that he is alive and instead of coming to the cemetery grounds, he continued to walk down the road that leads to nowhere, thinking that he is going onto his destination.
I kept on telling RM that we’re no longer alive, but he kept on ignoring what I was saying. I finally decided to stop telling him, perhaps one day he will realize that he is dead when he recognizes the road that he is walking on won’t end.
I turned around and saw a skeleton running, I was curious to see where this skeleton was running too. I decided to follow it, while I was following the skeleton, I felt a sudden jolt that ended the dream. I could swear that there was somebody at the foot of the bed. But my reflexes made me throw a kick as I would have done while defending myself, hell I need to stop doing that.

That’s a pretty interesting dream – some of it would make a good short story – the bit about seeing the cemetery and then realising you were both dead!
