Hunted

Relaxing after a day in my role as a government bureaucrat, I was browsing through my Hulu account. I came across a program that peaked my interest. The program called “Swamp Mysteries with Troy Landry.”

Well, Troy Landry a prominent alligator hunter who is one of the main hunters featured on the show “Swamp People,” has got his own show. In the first episode he got a call from his friend asking him to help hunt for Burmese Pythons in the Florida Everglades.

In the first episode it featured a fight between a large alligator and a giant-sized python. The python looked like it just consumed something and was sliding around looking for its next victim. The alligator crept out of the water, sighting the python. The alligator hissed at the python then took its jaws and bit down on the pythons head.

As the slow paced battle took place with the python sizing up the alligator and was moving around attempting to put the squeeze on the alligator. But despite best efforts the python limped and as the alligator started backing off walking slowly back into the water, the python died.

Seeing this probably had an influence on this dream experience. It started when I was visiting one of the southern states. By the environment that I saw in the dream, it looked like I was either in Texas, Arizona, or Florida.

It seems I was with a friend, who was unidentified in this experience. We were traveling on foot and everywhere we went we encountered pythons. They were big ones, and we were observing the pythons hunt down other animals and consume them.

But then an giant python decided to make us his prey. The giant python started to stalk us. Everywhere we went the python was there following us and each time he was getting closer and closer. Like a cat sneaking up on a mouse.

I feared that the python would strike, so I jumped up and flew across the landscape to escape from the python. But, this python was a persistent hunter who also managed to become airborne also.

I was flying faster then the python, putting distance away from the python. But after we landed, somehow the python was within striking distance.

I ran into a building to get away from the python, but the python was coming into the building after me. In my mind I had to do something to get the python off my tail. Then as I was passing a fire safety station I stopped and decided to confront the beast.

I was in front of the fire safety guard station standing next to the water hose. The python pounced, before the python could snag me in his mouth, I removed some of the fire hose and had the nozzle in my hand, and as the python lunged I held the fire hose nozzle in the air and the python’s mouth came sliding down onto the fire hose nozzle.

Now that the fire hose nozzle was inside the python’s mouth I clamped my hands on the python’s head in the same manner how those snake hunters do and kept the python’s mouth closed.

While holding the python’s mouth closed with the fire nozzle stuck down the python’s throat, a roll of duct tape appeared in my hands and I used the duct tape to tape the python’s mouth shut on the fire hose nozzle. Then I turned on the water. Allowing the water to gash down into the python.

With the water being poured into the python, hopefully it wouldn’t be long until the python drowns.
