Leaving The Morgue
Another typical night nothing out of the ordinary, except for I was a bit fatigue from the work day serving as a managing government bureaucrat. Not sure if the influence of what took place during the day had an influence of this latest experience.
There were a lot of distortions leading to the profound experience. Not sure how I got into this type of setting. But things were pronounced when I saw that people were lined up in some type of mortuary. They were viewing the bodies of their loved ones and they were talking to them as if they were alive.
By how the burial clothing looked, the bodies of the dead, some were partly decomposed, it was obvious that there were not recent deaths. It seemed that the bodies were dug up from their graves and the relatives came to see them to talk to them. They were telling them certain things, like confessions, among other intermit things.
Then the point of view changed to me participating in the dream. I was with someone who was at the mortuary, it wasn’t clear whether he was also participating in talking to the body of a deceased person he knew, because he was scoffing at the others who were talking to their dead loved ones. But he had his turn talking to the half-decomposed body of his loved one.
The other people went outside, they established some kind of rapport with each other through their common experience of talking to their deceased relatives, upon leaving the mortuary building they were going to travel together. Perhaps to go to a restaurant, or to some other post mortuary gathering.
The convoy of cars were outside the mortuary building, the dude who I was with was supposed to go with them. The convoy of cars were supposed to wait until everyone is ready to go.
I was the last one to leave the mortuary building because I was helping the undertaker stack back the coffins so that he can take them back to the ground where they were unearthed.
When I went outside the mortuary building, I saw that the other cars left, and my friend was the only one outside waiting for me. The convoy of cars were out of sight, I asked him, “why didn’t the others wait.” My friend said that they did not want to travel with him because they said that he was arrogant, and wanted nothing to do with him, so they left without him.
Before we left the mortuary grounds, the undertaker gave complete instructions to where to drive to leave the mortuary grounds. We, got in the car to drive the rout out.
We went straight for a couple of miles, but it seems that my friend forgot which turn to take. He took a left turn and it went deeper into the mortuary grounds.
As, we were going deeper into the mortuary grounds, things started to get stranger. I saw people walking around, and the clothing they wore looked old, weathered and tattered. Just like the clothing of the dead that the others were talking too.
I was looking at these beings walking around, and I saw that they had no face. Where their face is supposed to be it was just black. This is when I said to my friend, “oh shit, you better turn this car around and get back on the fucking route.” Wow, the undertaker never mentioned about the consequences of not taking the correct route out.
As the car turned around and started going back towards the route where we came from. The walking dead were lunging at the car in an effort to stop it. But they were in a weakened state and just bounced off the car as it sped past them.
Then the point of view changed to an ariel view of the mortuary grounds with the grass covered dirt road of the route leading out of the mortuary grounds. I am now looking down on the events of the walking dead. I could see where the car was and where it needed to go it was a long way out.
Its unknown whether the car made it out…
