Breaking news! breaking news! President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to declassify documents that will make public one of the mysteries that has been the subject of many conspiracy theorists, movies and books speculating about who done the deed.

Those highly classified information is concerning the assassinations of President John F Kennedy (JFK), Senator Robert F Kennedy (RFK) and the Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King (MLK).

Wow, this is a biggie, True_George thought that those documents will be declassified when my great, great, great grandchildren are at least eighty years old. That the generation of people that were around at the time of the assassinations, their children and grandchildren are long buried.

Plus, with the passage of time, any lingering emotions and the fallout of those assassinations were also laid to rest. Well, let’s recap.

 JFK was assassinated on November 22^nd, 1963 in Dallas, Texas, riding in his open presidential limo while his motorcade was driving down Elm Street in Dealey Plaza, as he was waving to the crowd of well wishes. A sniper, or two opened fire; JFK was hit twice in his head. The second hit blew his brains out. Even looking at footage of the assassination True_George kinda felt sorry for the man, even though the assassination took place before True_George was conceived.

The person who was arrested and accused of doing the assassination was a fellow named Lee Harvey Oswald (LHO), a former US Marine. It should be noted that In October 1959 LHO briefly defected to the Soviet Union. LHO didn’t stay in the Soviet Union too long before he went to the US embassy in Moscow and told the embassy officials and told them that he would like to return back to the US.

Around forty-five minutes after JFK was assassinated, LHO shot and killed a Dallas Police officer. LHO was arrested for that murder, and he was also charged with assassinating JFK. LHO denied that he was the assassinator and accused authorities of making him the fall guy.

While being taking out to be transported to the lock up, a night club owner named Jack Rubinstein aka Jack Ruby walked up and assassinated LHO.

The following year the Warren Commission who investigated the assassination of JFK concluded that LHO acted alone. Many have disagreed with the Warren Commission’s opinion. Ther have been many independent analysis that has made a good case that LHO couldn’t have assassinated JFK, that the shooting trajectory suggests that the bullets came from at least two different angles. It has been suggested that there was more then one sniper.           

One of the famous fall outs from JFK’s assassination was that Elijah Muhammed of the Nation of Islam (NOI) ordered his Ministers not to do any public interviews or give an opinion on JFK’s assassination. However, in December, 1963 a reporter asked Minister Malcolm X for his opinion, and Malcolm X said the phrase that is now a famous quote, “The chickens have come home to roost.”  Elijah Muhammed suspended Malcolm X from the NOI and Malcolm X broke away from the NOI in March 1964 and was assassinated on February 21^st, 1965. 

RFK was assassinated on June 5^th, 1968 in Los Angeles, California at the Ambassador Hotel after his speech has a presidential candidate. When the speech was over and RFK was making his exit through the crowd of reporters and supporters. The assassinator who was blended in the crowd crept up and shot RFK.

The assassinator was a Palestinian man named Sirhan Sirhan, who lived in the United States from when he was a preschooler. Sirhan Sirhan claimed that he does not remember doing the deed. He was given the death penalty which was later commuted to life in prison. Right now Sirhan Sirhan is still serving time at the R.J Donavan Correction facility in San Diego, California. In 2022 due to his advance age the parole board recommended that Sirhan Sirhan be released, but the California Governor denied the parole.

Due to the time when the MK ULTRA program was in full swing, many conspiracy theorists as suggested that Sirhan Sirhan was a Manchurian candidate.       

MLK was assassinated on April 4^th, 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee at the Loraine Hotel. MLK was in Memphis to support the city’s sanitation worker’s strike. MLK stepped out on the balcony to speak with some colleagues who were in the parking lot below, when he was shot by a sniper.

The person who was arrested for the assassination was a man named James Earl Ray (JER) who incidentally was a fugitive who escaped from a Missouri prison in April, 1967. He was on the lame and after shooting MLK he managed to escape and made his way to London, England.

After JER was identified as a suspect, there was an international manhunt, and JER was apprehended in London. He was extradited to Tennessee; he pleaded guilty to the assassination to avoid getting the death penalty and was sentenced to 99 years in prison.  JER later recanted his confession and claimed that he was innocent. Even members of MLK’s family supported JER’s clams of innocence.

Later on JER case came across the desk of Judge Joe Brown, who was a Judge in Tennessee, who later had his own syndicate TV court show and now a personality on a you tube podcasted. He concluded that JER was not the assassinator. That the evidence does not point to JER, that there was at least two snipers. Also the Memphis Police concluded that JER could not possibly be the shooter, they knew his whereabouts at the time MLK was shot. 

JER passed away at the age of 70  on April 23^rd 1998, at the Columbia Nashville Memorial Hospital in Madison Tennessee, he died from complications related to kidney disease and liver failure caused by hepatitis C.      

Now, the controversy in the assassination of MLK was that when MLK was shot, he did not die. It is a fact that MLK was transported to St Joseph Hospital in Memphis. That he was alive, he wasn’t in good shape but could have survived, however MLK was smothered to death by the attending doctor.

We need to remember another infamous program called the Counter Intelligence Program (Cointelpro) was in effect. That program targeted black Americans and certain Prominent black groups were infiltrated and individuals assassinated. This included MLK, given his stature his assassination had to be orchestrated and not planned and executed by a sole individual who didn’t like MLK.    

The 1960’s was a turbulent, and apart from the assassinations of JFK, RFK, MLK and Malcom X, there were other high-profile assassinations. Now that Trump as ordered that the files on JFK, RFK and MLK be declassified, it will be a matter of time when the file will be made public and will be on every social media. I suppose certain names will be blacked out. Nevertheless, I hope it won’t be censored once released. I hope that those files will answer the questions. I just kind of hoped that Trump would have declassified the files on Malcolm X.
