Alligatorcat

Working remotely in my role as a managing government bureaucrat I had the T.V on watching a YouTube podcast. It was an interesting podcast, however, between doing the remote work and listening to the podcast simultaneously I was kind of fatigue. So I decided to do a little meditation exercise.

As I was doing the meditation exercise, and got into a meditative state, even though I didn’t know that I was in a meditative state. The environment looked the same. I even heard the cat meowing. Then he jumped on the arm of the couch, when I looked, I didn’t see the cat as a cat, but a creature that looked like a cross breed between a cat and an alligator.

The creature was the same size as a large 15-pound cat, with the face of an alligator, and the body of a cat, the tail looked like a flat version of an alligator’s tail, with prickle thorns, like you feel on a plant. The creature’s legs were that of a cat, and it meowed like a cat.

Even though the cat appeared as the creature that I described, I never really paid it any mind, I knew that I was in the middle of a meditation exercise, that the cat’s appearance would look distorted. But, I better open my eyes, and shoo the cat away because all he was going to do was to disturb me while I do my meditation.

When I open my eyes, the creature that was on the arm of the couch disappeared. When I looked around, I saw the cat sleeping under a chair that is next to the T.V. There was no way that the cat jumped on the arm of the couch.

Then it darned onto me that I was in a meditative state, and that I just messed up the subjective experience by opting to open my eyes. Perhaps, I separated from the physical which often happens to me when I do these types of exercise. That the creature was probably a symbol that was going to be part of a larger experience.

I didn’t manage to get back in the same state because the phone kept on ringing, my subordinate government bureaucrats calling for me to give them instruction on certain things.

Anyway, I don’t think I’ll dwell on this, but next time be more lucid while in the unconscious state.
