Age

Decided to join in another Fandango challenge; this one is called “Fandango’s Provocative Question (FPQ)” Question #71 is concerning age.

Well I need to ask Fandango, and anyone else “what does acting your age really mean.” I can only say what I used to hear from women when I was at that age when people stopped looking at me as an adolescent and now I was being called a young man.

At that point in my life, I used to prefer putting notches on my belt in the company of older women. The women ages ranged from being one month older to at least twenty five years older. It all depends on how they appealed to me. But, when it came down to it, if the woman was in their thirties, or forties, it was just for pure sexual pleasure, and maybe going out with them to some sort of restaurant, or somewhere conservative if it was worth the effort.

My problem was that I wasn’t too successful in getting the ones whom I really wanted to share an experience with; usually end up with those that were not even on the radar but was a matter of opportunity; most time, the married ones; looking to blow off steam or want to get back at their husbands by having a one night stand.

The main reason why I wasn’t too successful with those whom I really wanted was mentally I was not on their level. I could not penetrate them psychologically; perhaps too immature still with a mindset of an adolescent. Maybe wasn’t into the things they were into or too young to relate to them in a way they would have liked me too. Honestly, I used to see some of my friends’ who were around my age bag older women of their choice like it were nothing. They never told me the secret, or perhaps that didn’t know the mechanics of what they did themselves. But I guess physical age and psychological age do not go hand in hand.

So what did these women used to say? they said “age is nothing but a number.” Hell, there is a method to the madness that those words represent. Look at Mick Jagger and his band, they are all in their 70’s and still be on stage playing rock and roll.

  1. I have to admit I’ve almost always gone out with much younger men too, especially as I’ve got older. The reason being that men seem to go very ‘pipe and slippers’ as they age and stop doing anything even remotely exciting whereas I’m the opposite!
