Buildings Toppling

A few months ago, I was prescribed a Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) machine. Since I started using the CPAP machine, I’ve noticed that being in the dream space is not the same as it used to be. That I do not hold the memory of a dream for very long, and the instances of having a profound dream have decreased. But on a whole the quality of sleep has improved.

This leads me to believe that if a person has an good quality of sleep, after waking up that the person’s memory retention of a dream is poor, or non-existent. If the quality of sleep is poor, that the memory retention of dreams is more pronounced, or is it just me? I suppose I have some research to do on this phenomenon.

In any event, this latest dream that I retained began when I saw a version of my block. I could see that new buildings were built. I even saw something familiar that I noticed I saw in other dreams.

It was concerning an empty field that was sectioned into building lots, and newly constructed high rise apartment buildings, suddenly appeared.

Now that I’m looking at these high-rise apartment buildings. I saw that they started to topple over. Even though the buildings were newly constructed.

Another scene popped up, another version of my block. This time the building was one huge building. I’ve seen that building before in a previous dream. It is a huge maze, if you don’t know your way around, you could get lost in the building. This building also collapsed.

Yet, another version of the block popped up. This looked like a series of buildings. Like a mall, where you can do shopping, and you can walk across a building bridge to the other side where the residential part of the building is located. That building also started to collapse.

Then I saw the block how it actually looks, then on the adjacent block, I saw a construction of buildings that had store fronts.

The stores were boarded up, except for one store, which still had people going in and out of it. I could see some characters; one particular character was standing in front of the open store.  This particular store was the store front on a tall building.  The tall building started to topple over and fell on the man who was standing in front of it.

The strange thing was that when the building hit the man, instead of the man being squashed, he slid to the side and the building crashed down next to him, instead of on top of him.

  1. I think that if you’re having a great sleep and sleeping soundly, you might be dreaming and then having dreamless sleep afterwards so that might block out the ease of remembering what you were dreaming. Whereas, if you’re not sleeping well, you might wake up immediately after the dream, or even during it, and then it will be fresh in your mind. That’s my theory anyway… of course, it could be rubbish!
