Puff Daddy on Trial

It was quite an interesting week, as you know, or at least I hope you do know, that the historic trial of Sean “P. Diddy” Combs was taking place. The United States Government has charged Combs with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.

The Racketeering Conspiracy aka RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) act charge alleges that Combs ran a criminal enterprise that engaged in various illegal activities, which includes, but not limited to sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice.

The sex trafficking charge alleges that Combs sexual trafficked multiple women by force, or coercion for the purpose of sexual exploitation.

The transportation to engage in prostitution charge alleges that Combs transported individuals across state lines for purposes of engaging in prostitution.

The sex trafficking and the transportation to engage in prostitution charges, stems from the controversial law called the White Slavery Act aka Mann act. This act prohibits the transportation of people across state lines for the purpose of prostitution or other criminal sexual activity.

Essentially, the Mann act was designed to combat forced prostitution, debauchery and other purposes that is considered immoral, the wording is so board that the government have been using the law to criminalize consensual sexual activity.

In essence, a husband and wife, boyfriend and girlfriend may take a vacation and travel from one state to another, have a good time and engage in consensual sexual relations. Technically it is a violation of the Mann act for moving from one state to another for the purpose of having sex.

Sounds crazy, doesn’t it. Yet, the first person who was charged and convicted under the Mann act was the famed boxer Jack Johnson, who became the first black man to hold the world heavy weight championship.

In 1913 Johnson was accused of breaking the Mann act because of his relationship with a woman called Lucille Cameron, who incidentally was his wife. The problem with this was that Lucille was a white woman, back then interracial relationships, yet alone marriage was frowned upon.

Even by today’s standards, the Mann act can be applied against anyone who crosses state lines and engages in sexual activity. The burden of proof will be on government.

In the case of Combs, the government has the burden of proof to make the case that Combs has transported, kidnapped, and coerced people to engage in prostitution, even though the statues of the Mann act, still make it a criminal activity even if everything was consensual.

The other burden of proof is that the government must prove Combs was running a criminal enterprise. Even though all of Combs’s endeavors were legal legitimate business.

It is well known how Combs started his entertainment business, and branching out to other areas, such as fashion, liquor sales and Cable network broadcasting.

If the case is made, and Combs is found guilty running a criminal enterprise, the government will swoop in and seize everything that Combs earned.

As of May 12, the trial has begun, and the first person to take the stand was the government’s star witness Cassandra Ventura, aka Cassie.

Cassie was the one who was responsible to help kick off the chain of events that led to the arrest of Combs. She done it by filing a lawsuit, which Combs settled in 24 hours following the release of a video of him physically abusing Cassie.

Maybe the government had their eye on Combs, but couldn’t make a move, until they caught a break when Cassie filed her lawsuit.

When Cassie took the stand, she revealed many aspects of the relationship that she had with Combs. But the part that everyone was paying attention to is their sexual activity that they called “Freak Offs.”

Yeah, True_George called it back in November 2023 that Combs, and Cassie were into candaulism and aspects of sadistic and masochistic. In addition to that they engaged in golden showers and urolagnia.

Yeah, Cassie described that during their freak off’s that they would hire male escorts to rub baby oil on Cassie before they engage in sexual acts with her, while Combs watched. Often the escorts would be directed to piss on Cassie, whether it was on her body, or in her mouth.

Yes, you heard me, the escort was directed to piss into Cassie’s mouth, and she would drink the urine.

Some of the escorts that Combs and Cassie frequently used also testified and told exactly what took place in the freak offs.

During the cross-examination Cassie was made to read text message transcript that implies that Cassie was a willing participant and enjoyed the freak offs. This revelation trumped the testimony that she hated to participate in the freak offs.

Kid Cudi, who briefly dated Cassie, was the first celebrity witness that took the stand. Kid Cudi alleged that Combs was behind the fire bombing of his luxury car. But of course, there is no physical evidence that would implicate combs firebombing Kid Cudi’s car.

In addition to that the relationship was a volatile one, with Combs often physically abusing her. It was a common thing for Combs to slap, kick and punch Cassie, leaving her with knots on her face, or a black eye and bruises.

It was coming off that Cassie was an individual trapped in a relationship, that she had no way of leaving. But, that was questionable because the missing ingredient that accompanies victims of domestic violence, is the isolation from family and friends.

Cassie was not isolated; she was not cut off from family and friends and she could come and go as she pleased.

All in all, the government has established that there were many instants of domestic violence that Combs dished out to Cassie. But at the end of the day, Combs is not being charged with domestic violence, the government has not yet presented any evidence that combs was engaged in criminal activity.
