Fishing

Watching Arrow, once again, had an influence on what the subconscious constructed. This time it took a scene and partial story line from the series.

The episode is when Oliver Queen and the two companions on the island came across a hidden cave that the League of assassins were looking for. The cave was hidden behind the island’s jungle growth. Inside the cave were the skeleton remains of Japanese Soldiers from World War II. Then later there was a scene where Queen is held captive on the League of Assassins ship.

Now with that in mind, in the dream experience, the scene was the same; but the dream itself was a bit different. At one point it was just as dark.

I was trapped on a deserted island, and I came across a cave. The cave was covered up which provided a natural door for the cave, and it kept out the elements from outside. But in the cave were the skeleton remains of Soldiers.

I don’t know if the Soldier’s spirits were at rest; but I found personal documents on the Soldiers, with the thoughts that if I should get off the island; I could at least send word to their relatives about the fate of the Soldiers. Then I put the remains together and buried the Soldiers.

I made myself at home in the cave; but as I suspected, even though the remains of the Soldiers were buried, their spirt was still lingering on. The spirits made themselves known, and they led me to the back of the cave. There was a kind of drop off; but the sprits led me to climb down the drop off. It wasn’t much of a drop off, but at the bottom there was a large cache of gold stored in the cave.

Just as I discovered the gold; intruders had infiltrated the cave, and they were looking down at  me in the drop off observing the gold.

The next thing I knew, I was a prisoner on their ship. There were other captives; they were held in cages. But as a form of coercion they used to make the prisoners fish.

They placed them upside down hanging from a beam and they lowered the prisoner’s down into the ocean head first. The prisoner’s head up to the mid chest would be submerged in the ocean.

The prisoner had to grab fish as they swam by. The submerged prisoner had to hold their breath for at least a minute before they were brought back up for air. The prisoner had to take a quick deep breath before being submerged again. If  the prisoner couldn’t hold his breath for the minute, then he would drown.

Yeah, I saw that they also put me in that same position. Then the scene changed, and I was seen things through my own eyes. As I was submerged in the ocean; I grabbed two fishes. One with my right arm and the other with my left arm.

After that a storm came, and me and the other captives were let up from fishing. But, then some of the captives started to overpower the people holding us prisoners….

I never saw the end of this experience; because there were noise coming from the Police car outside my window, plus the cat meowing because he wants to be fed outside my room door; startled me out of the state.

Interpretation

So now three words have come to mind. 1) captive; 2) Cave; 3) Fish; 4) Gold

Interpretation

Captive:

“To dream that you are a captive, denotes you may have treachery to deal with and if you cannot escape, that injury and misfortune will befall you.

To dream of taking any one captive, you will join yourself to pursuits and persons of lower status.

“To be in a cave foreshadows change because of adversaries. Work and health is threatened.

Fish:

“The Dream of catching fish denotes energy that you will be embarrassed by evil designs of enemies, but your luck and presence of mind will tide you safely over trouble.

Gold:

“To find Gold, indicates that your superior abilities will place you easily ahead in the race for honors and wealth.

True_George doesn’t know how these meanings were derived, especially when each person’s dreams, are unique and meanings and interpretations isn’t a one fit all thing. But if anyone has any idea, let me know.
