The latest in the Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs aka P. Diddy sex trafficking and RICO trial is that both the prosecution and the defense rested their cases. It was surprising that the defense opted not to call any witness and Puff Daddy declined to testify on his own behalf.

So now the final day will be the closing arguments, then the Jury will deliberate and come to a decision, pronouncing whether Puff Daddy is guilty of the charges brought before the court.

This is the American way, as laid out in the Constitution. Speaking of the constitution, that I have yet to finish that series. But right now, I suppose you may say that True_George is obsessed with this trial. Well, I wouldn’t say that I’m obsessed, but there is an interest.

You see there is a travesty of misusing the justice system. They are targeting entertainment artists of a certain genre of music. For example, they brought RICO charges against the Late Irving “Irv Gotti” Lorenzo and his brother Christopher “Chris Gotti” Lorenzo. Because they said that the brothers were associated with the infamous drug dealer Kennith “Supreme” McGriff. That McGriff gave the brothers a million dollars to start up their record label “Murder inc.”  Plus the organization was used to launder money.

Ultimaly the brothers were found to be not guilty. Now we have Puff Daddy on trial. So far in my opinion the feds have a weak case, and there are a lot of reasonable doubt that Puff Daddy is guilty of the charges brought against him.

The case is so flimsy that the defense is confident that the prosecution has not met their burden of proof to show that Puff Daddy is guilty of the allegations, that they won’t even waste time with bringing more witnesses. They do not have to prove that Puff Daddy is not guilty of the allegations because the burden of proof rest with the prosecutors.

But most of all the government should not be allowed to haul people into court with fabricated charges of what people do every day. For example, traveling from one state to another with their significate other on vacation, or romantic getaway, and be charged with violating the Mann Act for making love.

Perhaps, a significant other has an affair with someone else, and the husband/boyfriend/partner found out, she lies and say she was raped. The person who she had the affair with is hauled off to jail and have to go to court over rape allegations. Whether he is found guilty or not, his personal and professional repetition takes a big hit, not to mention expenses paid to defend himself over the allegations. Incidentally, if one cannot afford to defend themselves in court will often spend time in prison for something that they didn’t do.

In general, this is a widespread problem, women lie that they’ve been raped to cover up their vices. Also, when they do something, and feel guilty and regret that she betrayed her significate other, she may lie and say that she was coerced and cry rape.

Many times, when the tale of false rape does not add up, and collapses, no matter how far the allegations went, the person who lodged the false rape allegation won’t be held accountable for their actions. 

Now, too me this whole trial is focusing on Puff Daddy’s sex life, which is totally separate from his professional life. There were no evidence of illegal activity, that is on the level of RICO, no evidence of sex trafficking, kidnapping and arson.

For some reason, the government want to side line Puff Daddy. They saw the tape of Puff committing domestic violence, but that incident took place so long that the statue of limitations has expired. They decide to fabricate charges to get him. This type of overreach should not be allowed to happen.
