Breaking The Law
Reaching deep down in the channels of my memory True_George will admit that he has intentionally broken the law many times
No need to tell certain things that True_George participated in during his impressionable youth years. Activity that could have ended up with generating an arrest record, or even being labeled a juvenal delinquent had True_George been caught red handed, or someone snitched. So, we’ll just let sleeping dogs lie.
Then there were the shenanigans done during periods of military service, where regulations were broken which could have resulted in penalties from loss of pay to spending time in the brig. True_George won’t elaborate. The saying “silence is golden” applies.
But, right now I can tell ya, that the only laws that are intentionally broken are perhaps speeding in a non-speeding zone, parking where you’re not supposed to park and perhaps not paying taxes on time. Maybe once in a while there is an opportunity to steal time at the government agency where I make the daily bread as a government bureaucrat, and get paid for work that I didn’t actually do. I guess one may call these things victimless crimes. That is if you consider these things crimes at all.
I hope none of these admissions give a bad impression of True_George, but rest assured that True_George has never spent a day in a juvenal delinquent facility, or have been incarcerated for any reason. Plus, you’ll never find a mug shot, or an arrest record either.
Just remember, in America you don’t get punished for whatever crime or violation you done. You get punished for being caught.
In essence, the law don’t care what you do, just don’t get caught doing it.

Love this:
“you don’t get punished for whatever crime or violation you done. You get punished for being caught.” – also true here!
I would say the only crimes I regularly commit, and probably ever committed, is ‘giving it what-for’ (speeding) in my car in a non built-up area! After all, it’s fun – and it sharpens your attention and reactions up!

when I used to work with a load of blokes (most of my working life really), getting a speeding ticket was a badge of honour! There was one guy who had so many, he was having to put the points onto his wife’s licence so he wouldn’t lose his (he needed to commute by car 50 miles each way to work)…
