Bridge Carnage
As time goes on I’ve been consumed with government bureaucrat work at the agency where I make the daily bread as a managing government bureaucrat. The agency office where I am posted has a shortage of managers. There are only two of us (managing bureaucrats) and the directors running the government office operations supervising the supervising government bureaucrats and their subordinates. But you know that the directors don’t really do anything but sit in their office and relay goals and expectations coming from the Commissioner’s office. Thus, leaving the managing government bureaucrats (your truly and another bureaucrat) to be responsible for running the government operations.
This leaves me little time to sit down and talk to you about anything let alone record my latest dreams right here in my dream journal at True_George. But right now, I have some time to tell you about my latest dream.
It started out with me seeing and feeling the streets while driving on the road approaching the Brooklyn Bridge. The vehicle I was driving was one of those little enclosed three-wheel scooters that the Police motor cops used to drive.
As I was crossing the Brooklyn Bridge traveling from Brooklyn into Manhattan; the bridge road conditions was getting worse. I had to dodge pot holes and chunks of missing asphalt on the road.
While progressing across the bridge, I came at a section of the road that had no asphalt, just a metal grill and you can see the East River below.
Looking forward, I could see the cars in front of me started to fall into the river because the metal grill where the road supposed to be twisted over and the cars that were on that part of the road all fell over the side of the bridge.
I was still travelling forward when I came to that part of the bridge and my three-wheel scooter was starting to fall over the side of the bridge. But I reached over to my left and grabbed onto the suspended wire preventing the scooter from falling over the side of the bridge.
Other cars behind me were coming, and they weren’t stopping, it was a matter of time before the oncoming cars will be collided into me, forcing me to let go of the cable and falling over the side of the bridge.
As the on coming traffic were coming towards me on a collision course, I woke up before the inevitable happened…
