Daily Prompt: Inside The Bubble
In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Inside the Bubble.”
I would think that living a month isolated in a bubble would be a challenge. But it all depends. Being quarantined is not the same like it was during Typhoid Mary’s time. It takes place in a medical facility; there will be access to the outside world through the internet and telephone. Entertainment will be available by having television and radio access. This only leaves having physical contact with somebody. Could that be a challenge? Well, if you think about it prisoners in solitary confinement go months without having physical contact or seeing or talking to anyone. At least in a medical facility you may get to have physical contact if your loved one doesn’t mind wearing a bio-hazard suit or gloves. Otherwise, as long as the disease do not rob my energy, it will probably be like a vacation to me. I’ll be able to catch up on some sleep, do my calisthenics, practice meditation and relax. I’ll probably start a journal on my experience to be published on the blog.
