No Man Is An Island
There was only one thought that came into my mind for today’s Word Press Daily prompt of “Island.” The thought was a classic song called “ No Man is an Island.” The artist who wrote and sung that song was the Crown Prince of Reggae Dennis Brown. Ironically July was the month that he passed away.
Interesting. I used the same quote, which is actually originally from a poem written by John Donne, but I like this guy’s song. The poem is more about faith and our human connection to each other. Unfortunately I’m still learning the ins and outs of WordPress and I think I forgot to but in the appropriate tag for my post to be seen here. If you want to read it, go to sarahsbookreflections. Thanks I didn’t know about the poem. Some people think that no man is an island is a Biblical verse.
