Paralysis Images
People who experienced sleep paralysis often describe their experience and how they felt and what they saw. A few may even provide a written account of the experience, and even fewer will put that experience in pictures. I recently learned of an artist Nicholas Bruno that has taken his sleep paralysis experiences and provide a realistic pictorial of what he sees while in the experience . Maybe one can identify with the images that Bruno produced that was created by his subconscious or there may be something more is in play…
About four years ago I was experiencing sleep paralysis on almost a weekly basis. For me the inability to move was worse than the hallucinations. Usually the shadow figure I cam across seemed to try and comfort me while I struggled.
Back then I used to nap a lot in the middle of the day. Since adopting a better sleep schedule, I only experience sleep paralysis a couple of times a year. Nothing too terrifying ever happened to me during sleep paralysis, and I hope it never does.
Nice post. It gave me something to think about.

Thank you for sharing that Duellsfiction, you are one of only a few people that I have heard mention having positive hallucinations during sleep paralysis, mine are usually negative; but I do not have sleep paralysis that often.

Hello True George,
Thank you for sharing this, his approach was a good idea, I wish that I could put my dreams and sleep paralysis experiences in a visual form that others could see.
I do not think that I have experienced a sleep paralysis experiences with visuals like his.

Neither have I the only thing that came close was arms coming from the walls but I took control because I recognized it was something created by my own subconscious. Otherwise he states that most of his experiences were unpleasant….

Hello True George,
Arms coming from the wall sounds very creepy, I have not experienced anything like that yet fortunately; it is good that you were able to take control and recognize what was going on, good job.
Yeah, those look like unpleasant experiences.
Thank you for replying,
