Chords Were Struck On The Recorder
Well my take on this prompt is similar to a prompt that was asked two months ago. It was the Lazy Learner’s prompt Lazy Learners.
I described learning how to play an instrument but for some reason which may be due to being lazy have not practiced in a while. Yes, the guitar has struck a chord with me and one day I’ll stop watching T.V and get to practicing and get my money’s worth (https://truegeorge.com/2015/10/01/practice-maybe-tomorrow/). But the guitar was not the only instrument that I played. When I was much younger I was taught how to play an instrument called a recorder. The recorder is a small instrument with six holes and a thumb hole in the back and it makes sounds when you blow into it. The Teachers thought that I was pretty good and good enough to be in a class band. That year we not only practiced every week, we also gave a performance to our follow students and later we performed for the parents and other guests on the school play night. After that year, I never did learn how to play another instrument until decided to take guitar lessons many years later. At that point in time when I stared the guitar lessons I had the time and money to fulfill the desire of playing the guitar. But now when I come home in the late evenings, I’m more inclined to watching the Ultimate Fighting Champions(UFC) before bed time then practice playing my guitar.
